Phillips Medisize Medical Device Design Wins Third Award

Phillips Medisize recently received its third industry award for an innovatively designed drug delivery device. The reusable and rechargeable autoinjector reconstitutes and delivers medication, while ensuring stability of the lyophilized product during storage in a dual-chamber cartridge. Mixing occurs automatically and an orientation sensor supports patient safety. Designed by Phillips Medisize in collaboration with our customer, Ascendis Pharma, this uniquely patient-centered design prevents user error while minimizing waste.
