Phillips-Medisize recently received its third industry award for an innovatively designed drug delivery device. The reusable and rechargeable auto-injector reconstitutes and delivers medication, while ensuring stability of the lyophilized product during storage in a dual-chamber cartridge. Mixing occurs automatically and an orientation sensor supports patient safety. Designed by Phillips-Medisize in collaboration with our customer, Ascendis Pharma, this uniquely patient-centered design prevents user error while minimizing waste.
