Justin Westendorf, Product Development Manager, Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company
As a Product Development Manager, Justin Westendorf plays a leading role in Phillips-Medisize’s product design and development efforts to solve complex problems serving millions of people worldwide with medical devices and combination products.
With over twenty years of experience, Justin has a strong project management background and leads a multi-disciplinary design and engineering team that values the user experience and role that manufacturing development to bring products to market in a highly automated and regulated environment. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Winona State University.
Jeremy Odegard, Principal Industrial Designer, Phillips-Medisize (Global Innovation and Development)
Jeremy is a member of the Phillips-Medisize Human-Centered Design (HCD) team. He engages during the earliest stages of product development to ensure that the needs of end-users and key stakeholders are considered throughout the design process.
Jeremy earned a BFA-Industrial Design from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and has specialized in the design of drug delivery devices and surgical instruments through his 25-year career.
As an advocate for the intentional integration of Human-Centered Design principles throughout the product development cycle, Jeremy believes in the strength of cross-functional collaboration. He has learned that a sincere sense of empathy for the needs of others can build connection, provide clarity, and inspire creative problem-solving when teams face challenges.
