Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

The Senior Engineering Manager will provide direction and leadership to the engineering group at our Custom facility in Phillips, WI, with responsibility for leading engineering efforts at other sites performing work for the commercial side of our business!
Manage the activities of engineers which includes functions such as:  project engineering, design engineering, mechanical engineering cost estimating, tool engineering and engineering support.

  •    Drive continual improvement on all programs in manufacturing
  •    In partnership with the Program Managers, successfully transition programs from development to production, supporting the transition phase of projects from development to production
  •     Responsible for satisfying customer expectations on product quality and timely delivery
  •     Support overall engineering processes for technical expertise and resource as necessary in support of facility business
  •     Support sales with proposals and quotes
  •     Develop the facility engineering business plan by developing and maintaining budget controls on capital equipment projects and requirements
  •     Attend and contribute to staff and facility meetings
  •     Occasional travel to other company facilities and customer sites (15%) expected
  •     Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum ten  years applied engineering experience
  • Minimum of five years supervisory/leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of process control equipment and injection molding highly preferred
  • Broad knowledge of materials and processes

This facility operates under International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR), and therefore, any person hired must demonstrate
