Medical Manufacturing Operator - 12 Hour Nights

Experienced Manufacturing Operators needed for 12-hr Night Shift schedule.  Work 15 days each month, including every other weekend - with alternate 3-day weekends off!  Shift differential pay also! 

Manufacture high value medical products that meet and exceed customer expectations by following Standard Operating Procedures and complying with strict Good Documentation and Manufacturing Practice requirements. 

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Operator Instruction Sheets:  correctly use appropriate tools and equipment, including assembly equipment and glue machines, and differentiate between good and bad parts using Limit Sample Boards
  • Successfully operate and produce a high value and quality medical device on semi-automated equipment in a work cell
  • Expert knowledge and experience level on technique specialized procedures and Operator instructions
  • Basic knowledge of machine and automation troubleshooting and workstation clearance
  • Successfully utilized automation for acceptance and rejection conditions
  • High level understanding of Performance Metrics for the production line – operational performance standards – utilization, efficiency, output and scrap
  • Participation in Engineering builds and specialized project requests
  • Understanding of materials issuance to the production line, 5S, product segregation and line clearance practices
  • Effectively participate in Customer Visits and Operational Audits
  • Provide training appropriate to the assembly line
  • High level of understanding and compliance with Cleanroom Environment, Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Communicate assembly problems, such as excessive rejects to a team leader
  • Communicate important information to operators on next shift
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Some programs may have vision requirements

Qualifications - Education & Experience

One year of directly related manufacturing experience

  • Manufacturing experience in a regulatory environment with strong emphasis on quality
  • Previous medical device manufacturing
  • Basic reading, writing and math

  • Ability to read and comprehend Operator instructions
  • Must be able to perform to production line standards and high level quality expectations
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math skills; including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Must be team oriented and self-directing
  • Must have a strong commitment to quality, safety and communication
  • Must have knowledge of the impact of the work on the environment
