IQMS User Support Specialist

Responsibilities

Provide functional support in the areas finance, quality and manufacturing for our IQMS users at our sites.

• Resource to end user questions concerning how to use IQMS in specific situations
• Resource to end user calls when IQMS does not appear to be functioning properly. 
• Assess and /or trouble shoot situation to determine root cause then develop short term / long term solutions
• Develop and modify IQMS Crystal reports
• Implement IQMS module as well as new features
• Assist end users when attempting to generate operations information from the installed base of reports and queries
• Assist with IQMS permissions to provide the appropriate level of system access
• Work with site level management to establish expectations for local resources
• Provide leadership on designing the IQMS solution to meet site specific requirements while maintaining corporate standards for system use.
• Ensure that the IQMS system satisfies all validation requirements at the site (Computer System Validation)
• Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs

Qualifications - Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree in a discipline associated with computer based systems (i.e. computer science, management information systems, finance, business administration, industrial engineering); with minimum five (5) years of related experience or equivalent mix of education and experience
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience working with and/or providing support for enterprise resource planning systems in a production environment
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with project management and process improvement initiatives

• Group facilitation, process mapping, data modeling and user interface prototyping
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean
• Leadership skills including ability to maintain confidentiality
• Decision making and prioritization skills
• Motivated self-starter who is able to initiate and manage multiple tasks
• Superior ability to generate ideas and address business requirements
• Strong ability to think outside of box, and assist others in doing so
• Proficient in computer tools and systems. (i.e. IQMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.).  Willingness to assist others in sharing knowledge to increase proficiency
• Demonstrates strong ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate accounting, manufacturing and quality processes
• Solid competency in communication skills and teamwork
