Intern or Co-op - Manufacturing Engineering

This position is intended as a temporary 6-month Internship or Co-op. It is a paid position, but offers no benefits. Intern could work 15-20 hours/week while in school, primarily during business hours, preferably 3 days/week.  Some flexibility is available with scheduling.

Work with the engineering team to provide information and assist with projects!

• This position will assist the Manufacturing Engineer on the Glenmark program
  -Extensive manufacturing work is needed from FAT through PQ
  -IQ and SAT execution
  -Create set up and troubleshooting instructions
  -Develop parts presentation system and material flow diagrams
• Other duties as assigned
• Safety/Environmental:
  -Where applicable, individual is pre-planning safety into work activities to improve performance
  -Proactively identifies safety concerns
  -Complies with Environmental Management System Program SOP’s/WI, Policy & Program elements and encourages responsible use of resources
• Actively participate in continual improvement/innovation, corrective action and internal/external customer satisfaction

Qualifications - Education & Experience

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline

  • Prefer candidates to have completed 2 years of academic coursework


Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of injection molding and materials preferred
• Ability to work with all levels in the organization, as well as with customers and vendors
• Demonstrate communication skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of engineering project systems
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong team player
