Financial Project Analyst

Join our Design Development Center in Hudson, working closely with the team to provide financial accounting and reporting of accurate and detailed engineering, manufacturing and system information!

  • Work closely with finance team to create and implement facility best practices for setting up projects, reporting costs, generating reports and invoicing customers
  • Actively manage all financial aspects on the top revenue-generating programs at the facility, including leading monthly financial reviews
  • Support corporate finance initiatives at the facility level
  • Manage projects and sales orders, to include set-up and monitoring within the manufacturing system per applicable processes
  • Manage projects to ensure financial accuracy and alignment between manufacturing systems, financial reports and invoices
  • Extract related ERP data as necessary, verifying for accuracy, compiling, and integrating with data from multiple sources into reports and summary worksheets
  • Generate financial reports for internal and external (customer) review
  • Manage revenue and costing budgets at the customer / external level as well as internally as an aid to Plant forecasting
  • Attain customer approval related to project work done toward invoice generation; generate customer invoices in accordance with established processes
  • Lead and mentor other Project Analysts within the department toward best practice of all listed responsibilities and objectives
  • Understand the Continuous Improvement philosophy and support and/or lead such endeavors, primarily as relates to Project Financial Management
  • Some programs may have vision requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with 2 + years of related experience
  • Two (2) years’ project management experience
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working directly with an ERP system

This facility operates under International Traffic in Arms Regulations
