Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver system requirements by maintaining a working knowledge of the business processes and system capabilities as well as understanding options for system configuration, customization and business process reengineering.

Key Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Evaluate effectiveness of existing systems, processes & facilitate making needed improvements with a goal of an “integrated” Quality Management System across all Phillips-Medisize facilities world-wide
  • Actively participate in corporate/cross-facility teams to develop and implement new and improved systems such as Best Practices and Quality Management Systems as need 
  • Create specifications for systems to meet all audit documentation and part 11 requirements
  • Assist with computer systems validation documentation and testing of new systems and upgrades to systems prior to their release
  • Establish and maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with the Phillips-Medisize business as they relate to our Quality Management Systems
  • Design and develop reports as needed
  • Provide on-going system support & end user training as needed
  • Provide project management (planning, tracking & communication)
  • Establish, maintain & nurture business partnerships with facility leaders and staff
  • Some programs may have vision requirements

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • B.S. degree in computer science, MIS or Business Administration with 2 – 6 years of related experience
    OR
  • Equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Minimum Two (2) years’ experience providing technical support for enterprise resource planning systems in a production environment
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working directly with an ERP system

  • Demonstrated broad understanding of capabilities and technologies of other PPC facilities, suppliers, and customers
