NPI Quality Engineer / NPI Quality Project Manager

As NPI Quality Engineer / Project Manager you will be responsible for assuring that the defined product development processes are followed, including:
- Participating in development in the area of project management, product development, quality, industrialization and tooling
- Project management responsibility for specified areas in pre-production projects (incl. also customer and supplier communications, meetings)
- Taking part in supplier and internal audits
- Creating project related quality documents as well as ensuring and managing project related documentation created by others
- Participating in industrialization and product development work of the customer projects
- Developing and improving the effectiveness of projects and processes under your responsibility
- Project quality planning and risk management
- Compliance to customer and regulatory requirements

Qualifications - Education & Experience

- Bachelor or University degree in engineering, plastics technology, chemistry, pharmacy, health sciences or equivalent
- 3 years’ work experience in product development in contract manufacturing plastics industry with international customers

Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

- Product development and plastics processing knowledge
- Understanding of costing, pricing and sales process in contract manufacturing
- ISO 13485, ISO 15378 and regulatory requirements (incl. 94/42-EEC, 21CFR Part 820) and GMP knowledge
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, plastic materials, automation and assembly processes, understanding of injection molding technology is considered an advantage
- Good managerial, negotiating, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel in Europe
- Good command of English and Finnish languages
