NPI Project Manager

  • Manage NPI projects within Phillips-Medisize according to the scope, budget and time schedule
  • Create, execute and revise project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements in reference to the scope of the project
  • Identify required capabilities and resources in support of the project scope and deliverables
  • Manage the investments and execution timeline of the project
  • Use Project Management tools as directed by Engineering Manager in line with Corporate Best Practices (MS Project, Resource by Month planning, Scope Change, Risk Management)
  • Manage day-to-day customer interaction
  • Set and manage customer expectations
  • Identify customer needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Manage project investments and execution with suppliers in cooperation with purchasing
  • Ensure smooth transfer of the product from Pre-Production stage into Final Production stage
  • Ensure the development of the product is in line with the scope/specification and expectations of the customer and in alignment with Phillips Medisize Corporation Design Development Process (DDP) and associated SOP’s
  • Coordinate the development of engineering data (such as models, drawings, detailing, validation results, etc.)
  • Management of the Project to agreed budget delivering agreed contribution margin
  • Prepare quoting material for Sales & Marketing in close collaboration with Proposal Development/Cost Estimation
  • Report project status to Engineering Manager

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • BSc or MSc in engineering (Mechanical/Physics/Materials)
  • Preferred formal qualification in Program Management e.g. PIMBOC or MSc
  • Principles/methods of process, production qualification
  • Technical knowledge of plastic molding and assembly
  • Relevant production process knowledge
  • > 5 years of experience in project management
  • Experience in product creation/development and product industrialization

Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

  • English and Czech language at Business and Technical proficiency at C1 level
  • Customer orientation and handling cultural differences
  • Negotiation and contractual skills
