medical device market. The company is recognized by its clients in over 40
countries for its expertise in product design, in-house tool making, injection
molding, welding, assembly, packaging and sterilization. To be able to respond
to increasing demands of a rapidly growing business, we are looking for a
strong and experienced

 

Metrology
Technician

A full time
position based in our Hillegom offices
in The Netherlands  

 

Position:

The Metrology Technician will support the increasing Measurement
and Test Metrology activities in regard to Commercial and New Product
Introduction projects. Performing measurements with measuring equipment such as
CMM tactile, optical and other test methods. Standardized reporting is also one
of the activities that should be performed. Assisting in measurements related
to process development, process validation and test method validation studies
like GRR. We have new measuring equipment, most of them are from Zeiss with the
Calypso platform. For automated data collection we use QC-Calc.

The metrology team consists currently of 7 people and
is part of the Quality department.

The Metrology Technician should be able to work as a
team player but must be able to work independently and will also be responsible
to complete the assigned task in time (result oriented).

Working hours may vary and may include working in a 2
shift system when applicable for a certain period.

On request perform or assist in other activities at
the Quality department.

Reporting and operating under the direction and
guidance of the Metrology Supervisor based in Hillegom, The Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities for the Metrology Technician include:

 

Testing:

·    

Execute and report measurements/tests
related to batch release

·    

Participate in execution of
testing related to process development

·    

Participate in execution of
testing related to measuring method validation (Gage R&R)

·    

Participate in execution of
testing related to process validation (OQ, PQ)

Qualifications - Education & Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·       Education level: Vocational (+)/Bachelor
·       Execute tasks with high accuracy and reliability
·       Manage multiple tasks and challenges
·       Able to set priorities
·       Customer focused
·       Understanding of Quality Management Systems in general 
·       Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO 13485)
·       Dutch and English at proficient level

  •    Effective communication skills

·       Proficient computer skills
·       Technical skills are an advantage 
·       Able to think in solutions, social and communication skills

  •  

·       Preferred to have experience in a regulated industry
